Should I be screened?
Most people should be screened for colorectal cancer starting at age 50. Earlier tests
may be needed for people at higher risk, including those with:

A family history of colorectal cancer.

Inflammatory bowel disease.

Unexplained symptoms, such as rectal bleeding, abdominal pain or weight loss.
